About

This blog was created to share game tips and information for the Sims Medieval, and to showcase stories I’ve created with the game.  Over time, the blog has expanded to include custom sims you can download and add to your own game and the Kingdom Legacy Challenge.  Soon more pages will be added to the blog with detailed information about crafting items, unlocking Watcher achievements, and more.  I’m also working on detailed quest walk-throughs, but that project will take a considerable amount of time to complete.

The Stories link at the top of this blog leads to the Story Index page.  There you will find a link to each chapter of the story so you can easily pick up reading where you left off.

I have one more Ambition to complete all the inner circle Ambitions. Legen (wait for it) Dary. . . . This Ambition is driving me crazy. I have to transcend fatal flaws from Sims and acquire traits that are Legendary. I have searched the Lessons, and have looked all over the blogs, but I can’t seem to find any hints. In some of the Ambitions, I had a couple Sims have the Legendary traits come up, but I have no idea how I did it. Now that this Ambition has this as the goal, and I’m lost. Can you please give some hints, or do a write up on this Ambition? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I recently finished that ambition. There are several quests that provide a Legendary Trait and they all say in the write up that a Legendary Trait is available. I haven’t found the way to convert the Guild Enemy fatal flaw that came with Pirates & Nobles because that one can only be converted in a P&N quest, but I don’t know which. Keep your eye open for the Fountain of Legend quest (which can be repeated by another hero in the same kingdom). Other quests that can give a legendary trait are Invasion!, Dragon of (your kingdom name), War Games (a level 5 knight required), Seven Mechanical Arts, the Philosopher’s Stone, and possibly a few others. You can also get one in the Fisherman’s Challenge if you have a sim with the Whale Ate My Parents trait–I always make at least one sim with that trait for this ambition. Good luck!

Thank you, I’ll give it a try!

I would like to interview you sometime to figure out how you wrote your story of New Nineveh. I assume you were making the characters of New Nineveh to fulfill the “It Was a BIg Whale” achievement and I recognized some of the quests(like Family Crest, Royal Heraldy path – it seems that the cousin is always Jace) and I really like how you detailed some of the stuff in the expansion… I might have to cancel my pre-order of Sims 3 Showtime and buy that expansion as I adore Sims Medieval – it’s easier to play than Sims 3(only two motives!) and the sepia cutscenes reminded me of the movies from Sims 2. 🙂

Keep up the good work and try to add in some more quest walkthroughs, okay?

I have been playing Showtime lately myself, though I ran into some bugs! I’m getting a new computer in a couple weeks, so I will get back to Medieval after it arrives. I had some minor bugs with the game, but nothing I couldn’t work around. I really do love Sims Medieval and the Pirates & Nobles add on! I wish there was another expansion pack for it (that includes horses and unicorns like Sims 3 Pets). About the story for New Nineveh, yes, I created the characters to unlock the achievement, and it was incredible fun! I also have a Pirates & Nobles story to tell, but I haven’t had time to finish the New Nineveh story yet. I like Sims Medieval for storytelling better than Sims 3 for some reason.
